BEAS Puts Rise; Nasdaq Fades
Blue chips rallied while the Nasdaq slipped about .5% Monday as traders
prepared for a speech by Greenspan on Tuesday. Airlines were the day’s top
sector while semiconductors were the weakest.
At the close the VIX was down 1.72 to 33.19.
