Ciena Calls Spike; Stocks Move Higher

Semiconductor stocks powered a Nasdaq rally Thursday that took the average up
2% to within 5 points of its 200-day moving average. Biotechs and broker/dealers
were also solid performers, while transportations and airlines faced selling
pressure.

At the close, the VIX had decrease .63 to 20.04.

The OEX 815 calls finished up 3/4 to 2 7/8.
