DLJ Calls Jump; Stocks Mixed

of light, pre-holiday trading. Broker/dealers and insurance are the top sectors
of the day while retailers and oil services are the weakest.

At mid-day, the VIX has increased .89 to 19.81.

The OEX September 830 calls are down 3 to 9 1/2.
