Dow Off 100 As Yield Curve Inverts

Stocks fell Tuesday, with the Dow staging its worst
single day single day performance since late October and its worst post-holiday
performance in more than 10 years.
The Nasdaq fell double digits.
Volume was light in holiday trading.

The yield curve inverted for the first time
in 5 years, with the 5-year note at 4.288%. Historically, an inverted yield
curve suggest a slowing economy.

Crude oil fell slightly and natural gas prices fell $11.
