Here Are Some Leaders To Watch
The
stock market continues to chug higher into the end of 2004. The
NASDAQ closed today’s session at its highest levels for the year.
Â
Â
The market remains in a
confirmed uptrend as we wrap up a year of consolidation. 2003 saw the market
rally off its bottom that was set in October of 2002 and history has usually
shown that the next year does not produce much in the way of large gains. 2005
is setting up to be a whole new story. The market is solidly poised to march
much higher as we head into the New Year.
We see very strong individual
leadership out of a broad range of stocks and sectors. Retailers such as
Bebe Stores (BEBE), internets such as Ebay and Google (GOOG)
and other consumer-oriented companies like Apple (AAPL) and Starbucks
(SBUX) provide great examples.
Â
Â
The month of December allowed
new bases to form. Stocks like Netease (NTES) are now set-up to
breakout.
Â
Â
We continue to see a great
market to be long. Since business is still in effect for the final days of
2004, make it a goal to complete a strong portfolio that can accomplish your
goals. Enjoy your New Year’s celebration and we will all be looking forward to
a successful and prosperous 2005.
Cheers!
