JDSU Puts Jump; Nasdaq Slides
A stronger-than-expected January PPI report spooked stocks into a tech-led
sell-off that took the Nasdaq down 5%. Gold and silver was the top sector while
semiconductors were the weakest.
At the close, the VIX was up 1.62 to 25.08.
