Lucent Calls Rise; Stocks Rest

Stocks took a breather Friday following a week of big gains that put all
three major averages above their respective 50-day moving averages. Oils
services were the day’s top sector while Internets were the weakest.
At the close, the VIX was up .55 to 29.01.
Among bigger movers on heavier-than-average volume:
PowerRating) gained .47 to 9.51 while the Lucent May 10 calls ended up .20
to 1.20 on more than 23,000 contracts.
PowerRating) eased .57 to 19.75 while the Oracle April 20 calls edged
down .40 to .20 on more than 18.000 contracts.
PowerRating) edged up .96 to 69.00 while the MSFT May 70 calls
remained unchanged at 2.85 on more than 37,000 contracts.
