Markets Fight To Reclaim Losses From Last Friday
Major indices finish the week in the green;
investors pushing to make up losses from last Friday.
Strong earnings from Microsoft and Proctor&Gamble,
combined with better-than-expected housing data, boosted investor confidence
today.
Earnings seem to drive today’s move, as investors
ignored the disappointing GDP figures announced this morning.
Crude oil futures closed up over 2% after the US
prepared to increase pressure on Iran’s nuclear programs.
