Micron Calls Rise; Nasdaq Rallies

Technology stocks are sharply higher Tuesday, and that has fired up the
Nasdaq to the tune of a 4.2% gain. Semiconductors are leading the way while gold
and silver is the weakest sector.

At mid-day, the VIX is down 1.53 to 27.69.
