Monday’s Top Stocks From TradersWire

Kmart (KMRT) was
upgraded to Buy from Hold
by UBS, and price target was raised from
100 to 160 this morning. The issue gained more than 13% on extremely strong
volume and finished at a new high. Indeed, a great weekend for Kmart investors.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.7% of its value, but it managed to close
above a rising trendline. In spite of Thursday’s bullish tail, the Nasdaq
Composite Index failed to take out the 50-day SMA (simple moving average).
Volume was lighter than its daily average.

Now, four stocks for Monday:

AES Corp (AES): The issue may be ready to resume its uptrend. It closed near the
day’s high just above the 38.2% retracement level. Long AES if it moves above
16.82. Target is near 18. Risk 35-50 cents.

Pride International (PDE): The stock is testing its support level after pulling
back from the March 8 high. Long PDE if it takes out 26.11. Target is 27.50.
Risk 0.35-0.5.

Ann Taylor Stores (ANN): The issue bounced off the 38.2% retracement level and
closed near the day’s best level. Long ANN if it trades above 25.15. Target is
26. Risk 35 cents.

Dell Inc (DELL): The stock is forming a descending triangle. We are looking for
a breakdown. Short DELL if it slips below 39.50. Target is 38. Risk 0.5-0.75.
