My Take On Using Fundamentals
Hey Dave
Verisign has crappy fundamentals.
Why would recommend such a stock?
What’s a fundamental?
Hey Dave
With KEYW having a secondary offering of 6m shrs @ $16.50, why would it be a good idea to purchase it now at 17.74? I would think it will meet the 16.50 first prior to resuming uptrend…
Just wondering about today’s further rec. of this security. Thank you.
Logically, you are correct. However,
the market seldom trades on what’s logical. I liked the stock because the chart
had good momentum and had pulled back–a bread-and-butter type setup for my
style of trading.
On Wednesday, the Nasdaq started firmer but quickly dipped
in early trading. It found its low by mid-morning, rallied till noon, and then
traded mostly sideways before generally firming going into the close.
The S&P traded back-and-forth but managed to hold onto
a small gain.
So what do we do? The indices appear to be
resuming their strong uptrends out of pullbacks. And, the majority of
all sectors are doing the same. Therefore, continue to focus on the long side.
However, use caution since trading on the Friday after Thanksgiving is notorious
for being thin and choppy.
As far as setups, Verisign
(

its accelerated uptrend out of a pullback.
Best of luck with your trading on Friday!
