NASDAQ 100 Futures Pause At Daily Limit

NASDAQ 100 Futures sold off sharply on the open and traded down 60 points (their daily limit), halting trading temporarily as prescribed by exchange rules. The contract has recovered somewhat since reopening twelve minutes later, but the index and is taking a breather from record levels.

Silver and gold moved higher as equities sold off. From the Multiple Days Low Volatility List, gold popped higher and moved above a recent consolidation range.
Coffee gapped down and is trading at its lowest level in ten days and natural gas is up 3.3%.
