Rambus Calls Tank; Stocks Mixed

Heavier-than-expected July home sales took away some of the early-morning
gains, leaving stocks mixed and roughly flat. Broker/dealers and technology are
the top sectors, while banks and airlines are the weakest.

At mid-day, the VIX has risen .79 to 19.02.

The OEX September 820 calls are down 2 3/8 to 17.
