Still Choppy
On Friday, the Nasdaq lapped lower and begin to
choppy around. It then sold off hard on the Anthrax scare. Then, late in the
day, it rallied to close well.

The S&P had a similar day.

So what do we do? Earlier
in the day I was all impressed with my big blue arrow. Then, the afternoon rally
had me thinking that this recent strength cannot be stopped. No matter what you
think, you have to admit it’s choppy out there. This makes for a difficult
trading environment for the swing trader. So, don’t fight the short term up
momentum but continue to keep an eye out for shorts. And, above all, keep it on
the light side.
Looking to potential setups, Once again, the defense issues
still look like they have potential. With that said, Raytheon

mentioned last night, still looks like it has the potential to rally out of a
pullback from highs.Â

defense stock that has pulled back but still looks poised to resume its uptrend.

P.S. Reminder: Protective stops on
every trade!
“…I have read quite a few books on investing but I have never enjoyed a book as much as I enjoyed your book….
You very artfully made your point over and over with charts and explanations detailing what was important to watch. Your Q & A section at the end of each chapter was surprising. Each time as I would read a chapter, I would form questions in my mind. How in the world did you know which questions were unanswered?Â
You must have had many people read your book and those questions must have come up. That was excellent.Â
I liked how you treated the very important psychological factors related to investing success. Many books talk about “how to trade” but don’t address how we traders sabotage themselves by not being aware of the emotional side to investing. Again, thanks for a great book.Â
It has made a big impression on me and I expect to change my trading as a result.Â
I am recommending your book to my trading buddies and anyone who is serious about investing….”
