Talent and Developing Skills as a Trader
Today I’m going to share an excellent book that was released last week. The name of the book is The Talent Code, written by Daniel Coyle.
Coyle has gone fairly deep into looking at the role that practice versus genetics plays in the making of greatness in any chosen field. It’s become commonplace knowledge now of the role 10,000 hours of “perfect practice” plays in developing great talent no matter what that talent is. What Coyle does is take it further by discussing and teaching how to go further by “Thinking Deeper”. “Thinking Deeper” is not only about practice but is also about the process of learning how to think at a deeper level while you’re learning and building the skills. It means that the knowledge is mastered quicker and that you can more rapidly go further with this knowledge.
As traders, we’re always looking to improve. What this book will help you do is learn how to become a better trader at an even more rapid pace and to scale further from there.
The early reviews have been strong on this book and it’s a very good read. The Talent Code is available on Amazon.com and it’s now also in many of the major books stores.
