Teradyne Puts Rise; Nasdaq Sinks
Stocks finished mixed Thursday, with the Nasdaq declining 1.7% and the Dow
gaining 0.7%. Broker/dealers and semiconductors are the weakest groups while drugs
and retailers are the strongest.
At the close, the VIX had increased .79 to 23.85.
The OEX October 800 calls finished down 3/4 to 9 3/4.
