Thursday’s Stock Watch
The broader
markets finished on a positive note after an early session sell-off that
turned into a late-day rally. The Dow and S&P 500 showed some weakness by
closing with declining issues and declining volume moderately edging out their bullish counterparts. The Nasdaq and its technology components once again
represented the strength of the markets, with advancing issues and up volume
gaining an edge over its bearish counterparts. New 52-week highs on the day came
in at relatively healthy levels considering the early selling. Stocks on our
watch list were mixed with some nice accumulation and one nasty sell-off.
