TradingMarkets 7 Stocks You Need to Know for Wednesday

January 5, 2010 by David Goodboy

A dismal home sales report counteracted an improved factory outlook resulting in stocks closing mixed on the session. The U.S. dollar fell hard against the major currencies while the automakers announced an improved December. The DJIA fell 11.94, the Nasdaq gained 0.29, and the S&P 500 added 3.53.

Here are 7 stocks you need to know for Wednesday.

^MON^ reports prior to the bell with an expected EPS of 1 cent.

Discount retailer, ^FDO^, has its sights set on an EPS of 47 cents before the open on Wednesday morning.

After the close on Wednesday, ^BBBY^ announces its results with a forecast number of 42 cents/share.

Mid-range dining specialists, ^RT^ is expecting to see a loss of 1 cent after the bell on Wednesday.
