TradingMarkets Mid-Day Movers
Stocks erased Wednesday’s gains
yesterday, experiencing sharp selloff. Volatility continued to rise
and much of the recent market gyrations is being attributed to today’s options
expiration. The major averages opened positively today, especially the Nasdaq
which received a boost from Google’s

the Dow and S&P in negative territory while the Nasdaq indexes are holding onto
modest gains.
The US Dollar Index is trading higher, along with treasuries.

trading at $59.45.
