TradingMarkets Mid-Day Movers

Stocks are modestly higher in low
volume trading ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday tomorrow.
The
economic calendar was packed today with a number of reports moved forward to
accommodate the holiday.

Mortgage Bankers Association’s Weekly Market Index fell 3.4%,
the Purchase Index fell 1.2% and the Refi Index fell 6.9% (report).
Initial Jobless Claims rose 30,000 To 335,000 (report).
The University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment
Index was 81.6 for November. EIA: Crude Oil Inventories rose 400,000 Barrels,
while Gasoline Inventories rose 200,000 Barrels (report).

Treasuries are trading slightly lower, the US Dollar Index is
virtually unchanged. Energy prices are lower across the board, with Heating Oil
leading the decline.
