What’s Up, What’s Down: Change to Trading Hours for Ice Soft Contracts

CHANGE TO TRADING HOURS FOR ICE SOFTS CONTRACTS – Effective March 30, 2009

Effective with the start of trading on Sunday, March 29 (for trade date March 30), the ICE Futures US Exchange is revising electronic trading hours for its agricultural futures and options. The new electronic trading hours for these products will be: (times shown are NY time)·

Sugar (No.11): 3:30 am Open – 2:00 pm Close·

Coffee: 3:30 am Open – 2:00 pm Close·

Cocoa: 4:00 am Open – 2:00 pm Close·

Cotton: 9:00 pm Open – 2:30 pm Close·

FCOJ: 8:00 am Open – 2:00 pm Close.

Additionally, trading floor (open outcry) trading hours for Cotton Options are also changing. Cotton Options on the floor will now open at 10:30 am (closing time remains 2:15 pm).
