WorldCom Calls Jump; Stocks Slip

Stocks have slid into the negative column Wednesday after tech stocks
initially staged a bit of a rally. Telecom is the day’s strongest sector while
biotechs are the weakest.

At mid-day, the VIX is down .84 to 33.36.

The OEX January 700 calls are down .70 to 5.00.
