The free TradingMarkets Screener tool has been discontinued as of 12/31/2015.
If you would like a solution to scan daily for the same information that the Screener provided on your own then you may want to consider the AmiBroker Add-on Replacement Module for the TradingMarkets Screener.
If you are interested in using AmiBroker to scan for the parameters you used to scan for using the TradingMarkets Screener, here are the costs involved.
Costs
1. Customer Programmed AmiBroker Add-on Module – $500 – This will provide you with a scan that produces a spreadsheet with all the technical information for all U.S. stocks that you can export and manipulate in Microsoft Excel using the Filter functions. This spreadsheet will not include information on index or equity type.
2. AmiBroker Standard Edition – $279 – This software program is sold by AmiBroker and will allow you to run customized scans on a daily basis.
In addition to the one-time costs above, you will need to subscribe to a data service like:
3. Norgate Premium Data – $38.50/mo with a 6-month subscription – You will need this data subscription in order to obtain updated technical information on a daily basis.
Once you have these elements in place, you will be able to run a scan nightly after Norgate’s data updates (usually around 9:30 pm ET).
Again, after the scan runs, you will be able to export the data set to a spreadsheet and use the filtering tools in Microsoft Excel to set the parameters that you desire, i.e. RSI 4 at “40 or below” or Average Volume at “100k or above”.
Additional Optional Costs
A. Initial Setup Assistance – $200 – If you are new to AmiBroker, then we can have one of our technicians remotely setup the AmiBroker program and this scan on one (1) of your computers. Further that technician can walk you through the process of running the scan on a daily basis.
B. Customer Programmed AmiBroker Add-on Module – ConnorsRSI Scan Only – $200 – You can replace the entire scan mentioned in item 1 above with this lower cost option which will allow you to scan for ConnorsRSI readings only across the entire universe of U.S. equities. The scan will deliver results that you can export to a spreadsheet that you can manipulate in Microsoft Excel using the Filter feature in order to view only those stocks with the ConnorsRSI readings your are looking for.
